Carla's Visit

Ian told me that he had a friend, from the Hippies from Hell, who needed a place to crash for the week in Toronto. My studio is huge, really too big for one person to live in, so I offered my place. Carla's a beautiful woman, so I screwed up my courage and asked if she would pose nude for me. She's the second person I've asked to pose for me nude; this is one of the few times I've asked someone to pose in a studio environment instead of my usual nightclub fare. Most of the images (47 of the original 48) were digitally scanned from the negatives by Black's Photo; this included some post-processing that I wish they would have left alone (I had to correct a green tint in a few pictures that doesn't occur in the colour prints). Some pictures (with the white borders) are scanned from prints I made first. One image wasn't scanned by Black's (odd, considering it's rather innocent), and the others scanned prints are good pictures I scanned early to show Carla. |
