Advance and Follow Photos taken at the VNV Nation concert, year 2000 September 29th. Snapshots were also taken of the friends who arrived from Chicago (The Evil Chemist) and Detroit (Kore, Michelle) for the show (and to visit Astrid and I, how nice of them!). Those snaps were taken with an X-10 Wireless camera in my home. The concert was oversold, but somehow when I have a camera in my hands no crowd is an obstacle -- I waded right into the packed and writhing human mass to get four feet from the stage. If you see something that looks like a thumb, it's really a man's head in front of me; mosh-pit-&-low-light photography is an adventure. Oversold venue, tall people in front, but I got to talk to the band afterwards -- great guys -- until a rude promoter, not St. Dave or Phink, started telling them who they could and couldn't talk to (unless the person in question had breasts). I adored the music, and got to see people I've not seen in years, literally.It goes without saying that people pictured here can use their pictures as they see fit, so long as I get credited as the photographer.
