- Transcripts of Glass Bead Games games.
"Cognative cat's cradle." Fascinating, very telling of the minds and wits of those who play. I'm orbiting the idea of Herman Hesse's "The Glass Bead Game," and encoutering interesting ideas about language and ontology. - Stuff that I wrote
and I would like to find later.
Venerable
- Oracularities
Every day, the omniscient Oracle finds questions that are beneath the Oracle's merits. I humbly offer to assist in answering these questions. Sometimes serious, always tounge-in-cheek. - Conversation Transcripts
Instant Messaging and Presence (IMP) clients like ICQ and AIM usually record the conversations made. It can be very telling of my mental state over time to see what I was talking about over time. However, other people may object to posting publicly what they've said to me. - Journal (monthly? weekly?)
I'm uncertain about revealing these documents. Sometimes I write things very personal (not only of myself). I don't read other's diaries, even if they post to places like OpenDiary; wouldn't it be mildly hypocritical to invite others to read my diary? Scott Adams reminds us "there's nothing more boring than the dream someone else had last night." - House rules for games
My friends gather at my place every Sunday for 'Dumb Board Games,' which are usually sophisticated games like Acquire, Eurorails, or Zarcana or something nice and silly like anything by Cheapass Games. Being tinkerers all, we like to 'improve' these games.
Not Mine
- Philosophical texts
most written by others, but a few by myself, like my critical examination of the divine watchmaker proof of the existence of God. - Map for video game "Bruce Lee"
Okay, I made the pictures and arranged them, but the game was made by someone else. I just really liked it when I was a kid.
